Peter
Vilkelis is a criminal defense attorney in private practice in Chicago. After graduating from John Marshall Law
School in 1980, Peter spent 9 years as a prosecutor in Chicago.
He then started his own practice and got involved in the movement by joining
the NORML Legal Committee. Peter believes that there is no more honorable way
to practice law than by helping the victims of our country's war against its
own citizens.
Peter is a member
of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers as well as the Illinois
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a board member of Illinois
NORML.
